CR Capital Advisory (CRCA) arranges financing on behalf of an investment vehicle of Hines for the acquisition of Fresh Park Venlo

CR, an investment manager and advisor operating in the commercial real estate market in Europe, announces today that its Capital Advisory division (CRCA) has arranged financing on behalf of an investment vehicle of Hines for the acquisition of Fresh Park Venlo business park, the largest fresh food hub in Europe.

The transaction covers a 135 hectare site, home to over 130 food companies and suppliers. It is the largest single asset logistics deal in the Netherlands, including 23 logistics facilities and 20 hectares of development potential. Strategically located in Venlo, the Netherlands, the region is a premier logistics location for agricultural producers in Europe. The asset was bought from Telersvereniging Zuidoost Nederland (ZON).

The transaction was led by Kirsten Glaser, Director, from CRCA. Financing was placed with Deutsche Pfandbriefbank (PBB).

Kirsten Glaser, Director, from CRCA said:

“It was a pleasure to work with both Hines and Deutsche Pfandbriefbank on this transaction. We managed the advisory and financing from the start, through to execution and completion to secure the right outcome for all parties. The prominent sponsorship together with the attractive asset class of logistics and strong Dutch real estate market, resulted in highly competitive financing terms from Deutsche Pfandbriefbank.”
